The Youth Garden Educator Training is designed for teachers, educators, and volunteers in support of youth gardening in the classroom and community. Breakout sessions will be conducted with different garden topics for you to choose from. Fruit Tree Basics Seminar Saturday, January 18, will be a FREE seminar on "Fruit Tree Basics", 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, at Fanick's Garden Center (1025 Holmgreen Road, San Antonio).  This seminar will be conducted by Dr. Larry Stein, Professor & Extension Horticulture.  Dr. Stein will demonstrate how to properly select and prune fruit, nut, citrus, and grapes for maximum production.  Come learn about the overall maintenance and care of your trees.
