The copies do not need to be in folders, stapling is good enough. You must also complete a 4-H Member Recognition Application form, check the award you are applying for and clip it to the outside front cover of your original recordbook. The Member Recognition Application form is available here. Copies cannot be made in our office. Copy quality is not judged. If you turn in your recordbook and have checked you are applying for these awards and there are not three (3) copies attached, you will not be judged for the awards.
If you are applying for the Gold Star Award, you must also complete and attach a Gold Star Award Biographical Sketch form. Gold Star interviews are scheduled for Friday, July 10th. Interviews are scheduled for this one day only. If you are applying for the Gold Star Award, please make sure you will be available on that day.
