The Bexar County 4-H Awards Program welcomes all 4-H youth and their families to celebrate the end of the 2016-2017 4-H Year! Youth who applied for County level awards including Rookie of the Year, Bronze Star, Silver Star, I Dare You Award, and the coveted Gold Star award will be recognized during our program. Additionally we will recognize all Scholarship recipients and invite youth and their families to help celebrate their outstanding accomplishments. We also recognize adult volunteers for all their hard work with a small token. Please mark your calendar for Friday, August 11th, 6 p.m. at the Helotes Activity Center.
Dinner will be catered by Bill Miller’s and a Silent Auction will be conducted throughout the night. This year’s theme will be honoring our First Responder’s with a portion of the proceeds going to the 3 firefighters injured from the recent fire.
If you are attending the Awards Program you must register on line at https://agriliferegister.tamu.edu/productListingDetails/2335. Type in your family name and how many meals you want at $5 a plate and then how many of your family members will be attending the program with you. Deadline to register is Monday, August 7th.
