Dr. Larry Stein, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, will demonstrate how to properly prune fruit, nut, citrus and grapes for maximum production at the Fruit Tree Basics Seminar, January 20 2018, 9:00 a.m. - Noon, at Fanick's Garden Center (1025 Holmgreen Road). In this FREE seminar you will learn about the overall care of your trees before, during and after harvest. This seminar is very popular so arrive early for best parking and seating.

The Master Wellness Volunteer Training begins with a face-to-face training on Saturday, January 20, at the Bexar County Extension Office, Ste. 208, and continues with weekly online study until the final face-to-face training on Saturday, February 10.  Cost is $75 ($25 for students), and online registration is due by January 19, 2018.  If you have a passion for health and wellness, this is your opportunity to share your passion to benefit others.
