During each rodeo performance at the stock show, you see a bunch of kids in the arena trying to catch a calf; this is called “Calf Scramble”. If you are 12 years old (by August 31, 2017) and will not be past your junior year in high school, you are eligible to participate in the calf scramble. If you are 13 and older, you may be interested in becoming a School Tour Guide. Guides will tour small children around the stock show grounds during the San Antonio Stock Show in February 2018. Please Do Not sign up on a day that you will be exhibiting or competing in a contest. You will NOT be allowed to switch dates without a valued excuse. Haven Homeschool 4-H Club is open for enrollment. They meet at 13222 Bandera Road, Helotes Texas 78023 on the 2nd & 4th Friday of each month from 12 noon -3:00 pm. Their main projects are: Theater Arts, Food & Nutrition, Entrepreneurship and Robotics.
