The 2022 Master Gardener Training Class Application
Class 65 AgendaPrivate Pesticide Applicator Training
This training is for people who do not have a license to apply restricted use pesticides on their property or those who had a license that expired at least a year ago. Participants should bring a calculator and photo identification. To sign up for the training, call 210-631-0400 or email Sarah at sarah.nichols@ag.tamu.edu. Please provide a good telephone number as well.

July 12 & 13 – This is an educational program that gives well owners the opportunity to have their well water samples screened for common contaminants. The screening of the water samples is followed by a 1-hour explanation of results the next day, water well protection practices and focuses on wellhead protection and recommendations for remediating well contamination. To register, email sarah.nichols@ag.tamu.edu or call our office at 210-631-0400.

Incredible, Edible Insect Event
October 20 (Saturday) will be the Incredible, Edible Insect Event, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., at the San Antonio Botanical Garden (555 Funston Place, San Antonio, Texas). Bring the family and join us for our Annual Entomophagy (Bug Eating) Event. Summer Entomology (Bug) Camp – Ages 7 and Up
Now accepting registrations! We always fill up fast with a long waiting list, so be sure to get registered soon. Register at nisd.net/ace. Keyword: bug Campers get the change to learn all about entomology and become junior entomologists. We will perform experiments and activities with insects, get to hold tarantulas, roaches, millipedes and more. Campers will also collect insects and put together an insect collection.
