August 8 (Wednesday) – An EarthKind Home Gardening Series will be begin August 8 and will continue August 22, September 12 & 26, and October 10 & 24.  Come learn how to make your landscape look better and save water, all while having fun!  The sessions will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Bexar County Extension Office, 3355 Cherry Ridge Suite 208. Topics include:  Rainwater Harvesting; Drip Irrigation (Surviving the Drought); Fall Vegetable Gardening; Home Fruit and Citrus; Lawn Care Basics; and Composting & It’s Benefits.  Check the flyer for details.  Cost is $30/series or $10/session.
