• Watch for worms (caterpillars) on broccoli, cabbage and all cole crops. Treat with Bt (Bacillus thuringiensis). It’s only active for 3-4 days, so plan to use it twice a week.
• Remember to cut back perennials to the ground following our first freeze (if you haven’t had one yet). This will improve your garden’s appearance.
• Remember to put bird seed out for migrating birds.
• There’s still time to plant spring bulbs and wildflower seeds
