Swine Validation:
This Validation Program will meet our identification requirements. Major shows include the following statement in their Premium List: “To be eligible to exhibit in the Junior Market Show, all swine must be validated in theTexas4-H and FFA Validation Program. Each entry must have been recorded on a 4-H or FFA Validation Master list completed by the “County Validation Committee”.
The cost is $9.00 per swine tag for major shows (State Tag) and $1.00 per swine tag for the county show (CountyTag). Deadline to order swine tags will be August 27, 2012.
The committee realizes that it is very early and before many animals are purchased, but this must be done prior to the state deadline in order to make enough tags for the entire state. The best recommendation is to order more than you plan, but realize these are not refundable.
Swine validation will be conducted in November, dates will be announced.
