Lambs ,Goats and Breeding SheepValidation:

This Validation Program will meet our identification requirements. Major shows include the following statement in their Premium List: “To be eligible to exhibit in the  Junior Market Show, all  lambs and goats must be validated in the Texas 4-H and FFA Validation Program.  Each entry must have been recorded on a 4-H or FFA Validation  Master list completed by the “County Validation Committee”.

The cost is $9.00 per lamb or goat tag for major shows (State Tag) and $1.00 per lamb or goat tag for the county show (County Tag).  Breeding Sheep cost is $5.00 per tag.  

Order Form and money for lambs, goats or breeding sheep will be due to our office August 17, 2012.

The committee realizes that it is very early and before many animals are purchased, but this must be done in order to make enough tags for the entire state.  The best recommendation is to order more than you plan, but realize these are not refundable.

October 6, 8-10 am at East Central High School

October 21, 2:30-4:00 am at Helotes 4-H Activity Center
