  • Spray with Manage or Image to kill nutsedge (or nutgrass) in flower beds. Do not try pulling these invasive weeds. Each grass clump has
    five to seven small nutlets on them. Pulling the weed causes the nutlets to break off, creating a new weed.
  • Keep bird baths clean and full of fresh water. Be sure to replenish old nectar from hummingbird feeders.
  • Plant cole crops now for the fall garden.
  • Dead head annuals and perennials to encourage more flowers.
