  • Plant sweet pea seeds for their colorful and fragrant flowers.
  • Aerate your lawn with a core-aerator if your lawn is older than six years. Feather compost out to help cut back on watering needs.
  • Apply a soil activator on flower beds and lawn to help aerate the soil.
  • Apply bug and snail bait to prevent and control those critters on bedding/vegetable plants.
  • Plant larkspur transplants, “Bunny Bloom,” to bloom in time for the Easter season
  • Learn and have fun.
  • Master Gardener Training Class #43 begins Tuesday, March 7 and continues for 10 weeks. If you can commit to 50 hours of volunteer work supporting Texas Cooperative Extension educational efforts in community horticulture, please call the Extension office at (210) 467-6575 to receive an application form.
