The Discover Science Method Research Poster contest will allow youth to apply the scientific method to subject matter of interest or that they have learned through 4-H projects. The scientific method is a process for formulating and testing hypotheses through experimentation and research. Scientists use the scientific method to explore relationships in nature. The poster contest gives youth an opportunity to display and demonstrate how they applied the scientific method to research, experiment, and formulate results for their project.  A $1,000 Scholarship will be awarded to 1st place of each category in the Senior Age Division (grades 9 – 12).  See list of categories and more information here.  Contest guidelines are available at http://texas4-h.tamu.edu/wp-content/uploads/2015-2016-Discover-Science-Method-Final.pdf.
