An Agricultural Chemical Collection Event is planned for Friday, October 20, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Landowners in the counties of Bexar, Wilson, Karnes, and Goliad can bring their old, outdated, unusable ag chemicals to be disposed of -- free of charge -- and in complete confidentiality. Participants are encouraged to fill out an inventory form to register for the collection.

The Bexar County Office for AgriLife Extension will be serving as a host site for a statewide WebEx CEU Conference. Topics will include updates on pesticide laws and regulations, Zika, livestock pests, minimizing drift and pesticide use. The program will offer 2 hours in L&R, 2 in IPM, and 1 in Drift.
