What difference can you make in one day?  Saturday, October 8th is the 2016 One Day 4-H Community Service Day.  Any and all 4-H members, parents, and friends can participate in this day designated as a day of community service for all 4-H members.  4-H clubs/members select their project and then plan, implement, and tell about them.  It can be something as easy as mowing a lawn to hosting a 5K race to benefit a certain cause.  It's all about helping others and making a difference!  

Options include pistol, shotgun, archery, and rifle on October 29 – 30th at the Texas 4-H Center. Cost is $120 for Adult Leaders/Coach candidates as well as Assistant Coach candidates. On-site lodging is available. All adult volunteers that enroll on 4-H Connect  beginning Sept. 1st  must  complete two online training's on 4-H Connect “4-H Adult Orientation” and “Ensuring a Safe Environment”.  This is part of the volunteer application process and you will not be approved until these training have been completed.  Click here for step by step instructions on how to take these training's.

Bexar County Junior Livestock Show entry forms are available at www.bcjls.com. Bexar County entries should be given to  your 4-H club leader.  Please check with your club leader on the club due date.  Deadline for your club to get entries to the show is Nov. 1st.
