The Texas 4-H Youth Development Program and the Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation is once again pleased to offer to our graduating senior high school 4-H members the opportunity to apply for an Opportunity Scholarship through the Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation.  This year Texas 4-H members can apply for scholarships in three areas, baccalaureate, courageous heart, and technical.  Scholarship Application (fillable) is  available on the Texas 4-H website at http://texas4-h.tamu.edu/scholarships/   guidelines, examples and FAFSA information  are available here.  Scholarship application and all attachments are due to our office by Monday. January 22, 2018. 

Due to a continued increase in incomplete and/or incorrect completion of the scholarship applications from applicants, any incomplete or incorrect application submitted will not be considered.  It is the responsibility of the 4-H member and parent/guardian to ensure all information is correct and complete prior to submitting.

Mark your calendar for a Scholarship Training on Thursday, Nov. 9th, 6:30 p.m. at the County 4-H office in S-208.  Natalie will be available to review your scholarship with you prior to the Monday, January 22, 2018 deadline, call and make an appointment with her, or attend the Foundation Scholarship Work Night, Thursday, Jan. 9^th, 2018 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the County Extension Office S-208.
