TEXAS COOPERATIVE EXTENSION
MAY 1, 2004
- It’s warm enough now to plant warm season grass seeds such as Bermuda.
- Thin fruit on peaches, apricots, and plums to five to six inches apart on the branches. This will result in large and better quality fruit.
- Allow foliage of spring flowering bulbs to mature and yellow before removing.
- Check euonymus and zinnias for powdery mildew. Treat with a registered fungicide.
