The White House Student Film Festival – DUE

July 15, 2016 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Got big ideas for the future? Love to make films — or ever secretly wished to give it a shot?   Well, this is your chance! The White House Student Film Festival is back with a new theme: “The World I Want to Live In.” Through July 15th, we’ll be taking submissions from K-12 students across the country. Check out WhiteHouse.Gov/FilmFest to learn more about the event and read the official submission guidelines.  Over the past years we’ve received thousands of submissions — truly amazing creations that inspired us film buffs here at the White House.. Students under the age of 14 should have their parent, guardian, or teacher assist with submitting.

If your project is selected, you may have a chance to attend the Film Fest right here at the White House. The Official Selections will also be featured across the White House website and social media channels. You can watch several entries from the past two student film festivals for some inspiration.

Remember, submissions close on July 15th, so get filming to be sure that deadline doesn’t sneak up on you!   Show us the future you imagine, because we’d like to share it with the world. Don’t forget to spread the word: It’s time for lights, camera, action!
