Ever considered keeping bees? As a hobby, for the honey, environmental stewardship, or an ag exemption? This course will cover the basics of beekeeping for those who need help getting started or just want to learn what it takes. We will cover equipment required, time and natural resources needed, how to get bees, how to take care of them, and the year in the life of a beekeeper. Learn even more during our field day and get to open up a hive and see what’s inside. Field day options October 10th in Adkins and 11th in Leon Springs.
