What Kind of License Will This Class Provide?
The license received upon a passing exam grade of 70 or higher is for private applicators on agricultural lands and will expire after 5 years without earning 15 CEUs in that period. This license cannot be used for commercial, governmental, or for-hire applicators. Some landscape professionals must obtain a license from the Texas Structural Pest Control Board.

Cost: $50 for Training Manuals , Worksheets and Materials
The study manuals can be purchased for $50 in advance from the Extension Office. Make check/money order payable to “Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service”. A $10 registration fee will be collected on the day of the training.

After the training, a TDA inspector will administer a licensing exam at no cost. If the test is passed, the cost of a private applicator license is $60.

Attendees: All persons taking the licensing examination for an applicator’s license must show a valid photo ID before being allowed to take the test. The Texas Department of Agriculture representative administering the test will check photo ID’s.
