Mission:
Enhancing the educational sound and moral development of San Antonio Youth.
A Boys and Girls Club provides:
- A safe place to learn and grow.
- Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals.
- Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences.
- Hope and opportunity.
Major Programs:
Boys and Girls Clubs provides year round programs including sports, academic assistance
(including computer skills) arts & crafts, career and leadership development,
substance abuse prevention , scouting, environmental awareness, counseling, adult
mentoring and referral services as needed.

4-H Partnership:
- The HOT Salsa Program, the Junior Master Gardner Program, the Fashion &
Clothing Project and Arts & Crafts are offered at Boys & Girls Club
locations.
- Youth from Boys & Girls Club 4-H Clubs participate in at least two county
level contests or events per year.
- Youth in the Boys & Girls Club 4-H Clubs complete at least one community
service project each year.
- Each Boys & Girls Club 4-H member will earn a 4-H year pin by completing
the Membership Achievement Plan
and attending the Bexar County 4-H Awards & Recognition Program
