& Leadership Opportunities

West Region 4-H Junior High Leadership Lab
Date: June 17-19
Place: Howard College, Big Spring
Cost: $90

This lab is open to 4-H members going into the 6-8 grade this fall. There will be lots of fun activities. Registration is on 4-H Connect. For more information contact Pam.

Prime Time and Spectra

We have received registration information for both Spectra and Prime Time. Both activities will require registration through 4-H Connect and approval from the County office. All payments must be made by credit card, or e-check and sent to the Texas 4-H Foundation; personal checks will not be accepted.

Prime Time, ages 12-13 years -- July 20 (Sunday) -23 (Wednesday), 2008, $185 youth registration
Prime Time, ages 9-11 years -- July 23 (Wednesday) -26 (Saturday), 2008, $185 youth registration
SpecTra, ages 14-18 -- July 28 (Monday) - August 1 (Friday), 2008, $295 youth registration

Registration procedures will be two-part and allow families to submit a non-refundable deposit. The final payment is due at a later date. Please note, the county offices will be required to Certify the registrations. SpecTra assignments to workshops are on a first come first serve basis, please do not hold up a youth's registration if at all possible.

Adult Volunteers may participate in either of these events and will register on 4-H Connect as well. REGISTRATION ON 4-H CONNECT OPENS February 18.

H.S. Estelle 4-H Youth Camp
Date: July 7-11 or July 14-18
Place: Huntsville
Ages: 3rd grade - 17 years
Cost: $100 (Scholarships available)
Due: First come, first serve

Campers participate in leadership, computer awareness, creative learning and lots of fun activities. Contact Patrice for an application packet.
