4-H2O for the Alamo

4-H2O for the Alamo program is a national environmental stewardship project funded by the Toyota Foundation implemented through the National  4-H organization, and Texas AgriLife Extension Service. Laws like the Clean Water Act have been very important in helping clean up the most obvious large scale water pollution problems, but people are beginning to realize that high quality fresh water is something that can no longer be taken for granted. We also have to recognize that each one of us can affect water quality and we should do our part to help keep it clean.

1 This program provides hands-on inquiry-based learning to engage youth in improving their knowledge about the water cycle and the need to preserve water quality and conserve this limited natural resource.
