As with all other flowers, pruning, deadheading, watering, fertilizing, and grooming are important in maintaining beautiful roses. Come and listen to David Rodriguez, County Extension Agent-Horticulturalist and Master Gardener/Rosarian, Ed Bradley, who will help you understand the particulars of rose care.

Open to Public on February 19, 2013, Tuesday, 6:30 pm—8:30 pm at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office, 3355 Cherry Ridge, Suite 208, San Antonio, TX 78230-4818.  To RSVP, contact Angel Torres at (210) 467-6575. Registration fee is $10 in advance or at the door. Make check payable to Texas A&M AgriLife. See the Backyard Gardening Series: A Rose is a Rose flyer for details.
